Lexia has sponsored outcomes research in public school settings since 1996. Working with administrators, reading specialists,
SEN staff and classroom teachers, Lexia has conducted rigorous evaluations of our reading skills programs and their efficacy. These studies adhere to the criteria for scientifically based research highlighted by the No Child Left Behind Act, and the Department of Education’s Institute of Education Sciences.
These standards include study designs that feature treatment and control groups, standardized and normed measures, analysis of data as it relates to subgroups, and commonly accepted methods of statistical analysis.
